yummy burgers fries and onion rings. Fast but unobtrusive service just like we prefer. It's a bar but perfectly comfortable dining at supper time.

Regular here! I love their burgers and usually I am not even a red meat eater but for them, I make an exception because it is just that good. There are honestly few burgers in Columbus that compare. Also a big fan of the fried mushrooms! The service is immediate because it is such a small establishment - shout out to Dom, he is the best! This place can get busy but usually during the week you have a good shot at getting a table without issue. Pricing is fair, parking is ample, beer is cold and service is great!

Featured Menu Item... Johnnie's Sloppy Sandwich! Stop in to try our take on the classic American sloppy Joe... Johnnie's Way! We kept the fresh ground beef tossed in a sweet, tomato rich sauce but added a little spice with pickled jalepenos. Add your favorite cheese, or spice it up even more with some pepper jack! The toasted, flattened buns make it easy to eat... but add a nice crunch to every bite. Available for a limited time.

Under new management as previous retired. We've been coming here for years, but the new ownership is devoted to keeping the same menu/recipes, but adding some sustainable upgrades. I've been here many times since the transition and they're working hard to uphold their promises!

All I can say is WOW! Arguably the BEST burger spot you will find in Columbus. The burger is also only $10. Full bar service with more great prices. Got 3 beers for $7. Located just beside the train tracks on Travis. Very clean with exceptional service. Kristen was our server and bartender. She was able to effectively manage and serve the entire place. Can't wait to go back.

Neighborhood joints, dive bars call them what you wish, but I love exploring them. Johnny's Tavern was such an outing. We went on a Wednesday as that is the only day they have Joey's Coneys. They are known for their burgers and roast beef, but there are also fish baskets. I had two coneys and a side of onion rings. My wife did a burger with fries. The Conies were good, and the sauce was delicious. The hamburger in the sauce was not in big chunks, and the seasoning was not overpowering. The onion ring was crispy. The burger was deluxe, cooked medium well as requested, and a decent size. Although they are known for their burgers, and the burger was good, it was not spectacular. Our server was attentive and outgoing, which is a plus for us. It was a nice outing to a Dive Bar that I had not been to.
